POLICIES AND OTHER THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE COMING TO THE SHOP
Please come 5 min early so we can go over your paperwork. If you have a picture of how you would like your pet to look, feel free to bring it along. we can groom to pic.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
Each session is typically 1 and a half hour. On occasion it make take Two or Three hours if the dog is difficult, large, fancy cut or if the dog is tangled. The brush out is what takes the most time on small dogs. We perfer pets to be picked up within an hour after they are finished to prevent nervous and drooling pets.
It is very important that you be on time.
We may have to refuse the groom if you are over 15 min late so that we dont put other people off their own schedule all day.
If youre not feeling well please dont wait till the last minute to cancel. There are always people on the waiting list who want your spot and I can fill the spot if given enough time. If you become a no call no show over two times, you will have to prepay for your groom online when you make your appts.
FLEAS
YOUR PET SHOULD BE TREATED WITH A QUALITY FLEA AND TICK TREATMENT BEFORE ENTERING AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT HAS DOGS IN AND OUT ALL DAY. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE A FLEA PREVENTATIVE ON YOUR PET SO THAT HE OR SHE DOES NOT GET FLEAS FROM OTHER DOGS.
SHOTS
YOUR DOG SHOULD HAVE UPDATED SHOTS BEFORE BRINGING HIM TO AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT HAS OTHER DOGS.
NO CALL NO SHOW
IF YOU DONT SHOW UP FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT AND LEAVE AN EMPTY SPACE THAT COULD HAVE BEEN FILLED BY SOMEONE ON THE WAITING LIST You will have to prepay on paypal to make future appts.
MATS
There is a fee for minor dematting. Check your dogs ears, armpits and tuck up for matts. I will not put a dog through the pain of severe dematting and will go for the more humane option of removing the coat if there are too many matts.
There is not a demat fee if I have to shave the dog.
